| Size: 4¾” (12cm) height; 12½” (32cm) length by Ray Ayres. Limited Edition of 950 pieces world-wide. What happened? Simple really-the tractor came down the hill too quickly and plunged into the ford, the big splash flooding the magnets! With a flat engine and no farm horse available, all the driver can do is enlist the help of a friend, and so, with shoes and socks left on dry ground, he turns the engine over while his helper pulls on a land winch. Slowly but surely, together they ease the machine onto dry ground. There’s nothing for it now, but to remove the magnets and take them back to the farmhouse to be dried out in the oven. |
